Castel Volturno: the Mayor sends an s.o.s to authorities and associations

Following the National and Regional decree in order to oppose the Covid-19 infection, Informare newsroom had a formal interview with the Mayor of Castel Volturno Luigi Umberto Petrella to make the point on the right conduct  citizens must adopt.

Many municipalities are currently providing sanitisation of roads and public offices; we asked the Mayor what is he going to do for our city. He answered that in agreement with the President of the Municipal Executive Board Pasquale Marrandino, sanitisation of the main streets is right to be done.

He also wanted to remember that for any information or necessity it is possible to contact the Municipal Police at the 0823 – 763415, it would be Police care to redirect the requests to responsible divisions.

It’s well known that the National and Regional decree imposes closure to public places as pubs (even if their licence is assimilated to the restoration industry) and disco clubs, instead bars and restaurants can continue their activities observing the new security measures required in the decree.  Anyway, in our municipality, law enforcements able to control the observance of the decree seem to be poor. This is the reason way the Mayor Petrella has sent a request to the Chief of the police in Caserta, to the Carabinieri Command in Mondragone, to the Finance Police in Mondragone and to the Prefect in Caserta asking for support on control activities.

At last, tomorrow at 11.00 a.m. at the town hall, the administration has invited some local associations to build a “municipal organisational board” in order to support the administration managing the emergency.
